Pics of Modified CDC Shaker Shroud!!!
Just trimmed my shroud tonight also.Only thing I didn't like about the new Shakers was all that plastic. I'm old school I guess, besides I'm sure it traps heat under also. I added some door edge weaterstrip around the edges of mine,hopefully it will help in keeping water & rain going where it should.I used my Dremel & a cut-off wheel, trimmed the shroud about a 1/2" from the edge of the water 'channel'.I left the drain area intact under the air intake tube,you can't see it much under the tube anyway.
You could but it would literally only be the scoop which would do you no good as you would need to fab a way of mounting it. You could even get the scoop directly from Ford. Here's the PT#Hood Scoop Top Cover - #3R3Z 9B633-AA

The scoop and the rest of the ducting I believe are under $400 in cost to buy from them.
