Sure it's possible, but I haven't heard anything to confirm it. Are you sure it wasn't a V6 with the appearance package? It's easily mistaken for a GT.

I think this is what your looking for. I installed the GT bumper and kept my V6 spoiler. As you can tell I am going for the Mach 1 look and went back and forth on whether or not to go with the GT spoiler. I have to say I am very happy with the end result.

I thought about getting one of those for my '06, but decided I liked the Shelby spoiler better. I think I've seen GTs and V6 cars with that lower spoiler.
