My girlfriend and I are thinking of getting 20" Shelby Razors for our GT/CS soon. I personally like the gunmetal grey ones, but she likes some of the chrome and silver ones on some of the other colors. We both agree we don't care for the black ones for our car. If anyone can post pics of what they've got that falls in this category, we'd be greatly appreciative.

 

i can tell you on red cars grey does look the best. Theres a red one in this link im sending you that looks real good.

Hey John I think if you search in the exterior mods threads you may find what you are looking for . and settle on what looks best so I hope that when you two see what it will look like that both will be happy.

Actually, yes, she is making the payments because the car is technically hers. But just like when I had my Cobra several years ago, we both drove it whenever so, just as we did then, we consider the current Mustang "ours" even though it's actually her's this time.

Thanks for the link, but I don't see any dark red ones in there. Just one Torch Red. I've looked at that thread before and there are certainly a lot of great looking cars in there.

 

Ed, thanks for those links. I did look in all 60 pages of the "show us your wheels thread", along with a few other threads. I found a couple Redfire/Candy Apple Red cars with Razors, but I posted this thread in case maybe someone who hasn't posted in one of those threads maybe would have some pics of what I'm looking for.

By the way, I searched google images and a couple hundred cars on CarDomain.com as well. I started falling asleep way before I got through all the cars. I wasn't able to find much of what I'm looking for outside of this site.

 

I know if i probably say "i thought they were the same color" im gonna get flamed.... R azors look good in every color. You guys both have good taste.

 

go with chrome. Post a pic of your car maybe someone can chop some on there for you.

Perhaps they were making a joint decision that is satisfactory for both.... That way, they would not end up like this poor guy.....

Here's our car. I think the dark grey Razors look best on dark red, black, grey, silver and white. That's my opinion. I think the silver ones look best on bright red, blue, orange and yellow. Chrome can look good on just about any color, it's just up to the buyer if they like the bling factor. I don't particularly care for it on that large of a wheel.

 

Chrome you would also have to keep clean to look good, grey or silver would look good on that car

 

If you like the chrome or polished look there was a set really cheap in the forsale section.

I have had both silver & gunmetal on REDFIRE. Here's the pic's. First 2 gunmetal, Second 2 silver. That photoshop above is my car but wrong color gunmetal as you can see.

 

Very sharp. I'm making a folder of any pics of dark red Mustangs with 20" Razors. I'd have to say that at this point, it's a toss up between us on the silver vs. gunmetal. I think we've ruled out chrome. I think.
