Question painted calipers. what color?

I have a few ideas. most of them crazy and would take aleast a 6 pack of beer to pull off.

I would like to paint them bright ford red and put on the white pony high temp decals I bought.

I would also like to paint them red put the pony decal on and the paint high gloss black over the two and then pull off the decal.

I have been going back and forth for about 9 days now. I work in a cleanroom and it gives me lots of time to fight with myself.

None of the above? On your car I'd two-tone them. One piece gloss black, one peice silver/gray.

^That's a good idea. I'm not a huge fan of red. It stands out too much. But do whatever you like best!

Red will pop with the GT500 wheels... how about red with black pony decals. That's my vote...

I'm kind of on the fence here, and been thinking about painting mine as well. I hit the calipers with some high temp. black spray paint, but turned out a dull grey. Been thinking maybe a dark blue or gloss black, but can't decide. But I think you should go with the gloss black with decal. You don't really have any red on your car other than the taillights.
