The gap looks a little around 1.25 inches. The painter guy thought that 2 inches was too wide. The stripes are 9 1/4" in the front and 10" in the back.

38 the stripes look great, are they metallic? They did a wonderful job....hope I can find someone round here that does as good.

I have had two folks seriously challenge me since the stripes were "on", I did not accept them though. I was cruisin' not racin' yesterday.

1053 for the work. I also tipped him an additional 100.

He wet sanded between the steps from prep to stripe to clearcoat. You cannot feel the stripes at all when running your finger across the edge of the stripe.

There are a few dimples on the clear coat but mostly where it is hard to see them. He clearcoated the entire piece if that piece got stripe. So my bumpers, hood, rear deck lid, spoiler, and roof all have 4 coats of clearcoat above the factory stuff.
