I'm trying to figure out how to paint the car. I think I want something different than racing stripes. I have a tungsten GT with ICAP interior. I have a black Shinoda chin spoiler on the way with the silverhorse racing honeycomb rear panel currently installed (looks awsome by the way). I'm going with the Steeda racing cowl hood. I will also be installing either SS or CDC ducktail.

My idea: I want to paint the hood black like the Steeda pic attached but I'm unsure of the side stripes in black also attached.

Ideas??? or better yet example pics especially of side stripes on a tungsten as I can't find any. I want to keep the car clean without too much bling bling. I have fanblades now but am eventually looking at some Halibrands.

Opinions requested and appreciated

 

What about something similar to the Steeda paint job, but with a couple of inches of TG at the front lip with some radius to the corners. Painted in a dark gray.

I like what Rampant has done. Somehow I just don't like the look of the black hood going all the way to the leading edge on the tungsten car. Funny thing is that I like it fine enough on yellow.

Only thing that comes to mind (and maybe a bad thing), is using red GT side stripes and using a red pin strip border on the hood to match your interior. Like I said it might be a bad idea.
