Question Clear protectors for the paint?

I am looking for those clear protection strips to protect the rear area behind my wheel well. I have tires that stick out and worried about the paint getting chipped up on long trips?

Or should I get those geeky mud flaps?

Thanks

It is called StoneGuard and Paint Protection, depending on who you deal with. XPEL carries precut kits. If you just want to cut it yourself I can sell you some by the foot. I use Avery StoneGuard which is 6mil and a little glossier than 3M so it blends in better with the paint. The roll is 8" wide and whatever legth you want. Send me a PM if you want some.

Hey, I Might be selling my clear bra kit. I'm having second thoughts of putting it on since my car is black and it might be more hassle with waxing and stuff.

I bought a roll of Stoneguard off of ebay. Really easy to use and apply, just like putting on vinyl. I cut out some strips to put behind my rear tires, and I can't even tell they are there. Waxing over/around them isn't a problem either.

Unless you're less then 3 feet from them, it's impossible to see them at all, even if you know they are there.

Work great too, no stone chips.
