Options to cover up Shaker hood?
I presently have the CDC Shaker set up. However, I need to go to an aftermarket manifold as it has become restrictive at the power level I am at.
I don't think there will be a way for me to adapt the Shaker to the FRPP manifold, so I am looking for a contingency plan to cover the hole in the hood.
Is there a scoop(s) that will fit over the Shaker hole?

I would look to sell the shaker/hood as a total pkg. Some people may be into this so they don't have to cut their own. Then you can pickup a new OE/aftermarket hood.
If you really want to cover the hole I'm sure a cowl or scoop could be bought but the money to get it installed and looking like it is supposed to be there could be extreme.
I say the aftermarket route is the way to go and then sell the shaker unit as a complete kit.

You guys really know how to spend my money. I'd rather spend $200.00 on a scoop than five times that on an entire hood.
The Roush scoop looks like it may be big enough to cover the hole.

find you a old 69 cougar eliminator scoop- if I didnt like the shaker so much, I'd have bolted this sucker on...its going on my 69 instead though
(they look like a boss429 scoop, but lower and tapers wider at the rear)
just look for a old OEM scoop...the aftermarket ones are junk- I got one of those too collecting dust in the garage- mismatched stud pattern/'iffy' glass quality...the factory ones are nice.

Turn the scoop around backwards so it becomes a heat extractor.

Umm. Keep the shaker and take off the pipe that goes from the back of it to the intake. It's what I did with mine once I installed my WMS intake. The shaker no longer is part of the intake but it's still functional.
