Options for aftermarket side mirrors?

What options are there for aftermarket side view mirrors. I really don't care for the enormous bug catchers that are cars are equipped with. I know there was an Orange and Black car at SEMA that had some nice looking mirrors on it. Does anyone know who makes those? Please let me know what if any options there are.

Good question. I haven't really seen any other mirrors other than the concept mirrors. There are several manufactures selling the whole covers and partial covers. I just got a set of the Midwest Auto Gear covers. They look pretty good, however, give the illusion of the mirrors being even bigger...lol. Probably not what you're looking for...

Wow. I never saw those... They're exactly what I'd want if I was in the market. Very retro. I first thought $395.00 was a lot, but I guess not... I remembered paying $275 once for a broken mirror. I'll put them on my wish list, great find .

The mirror cover definitely make a big difference but I'm definitely want to change the side mirrors all together. Do you know if the agentfortyseven stuff retains the adjustability? Also if any of you recall a Stang from SEMA that was in a lot of pictures, it was black over orange and had some modern looking bullet like mirrors, I'd be interested in finding out about those.

It appears that they retain the adjustability(from their website):

A47 RETRO RACE MIRRORS Loose those ugly truck mirrors that come stock on your 05+ mustang. Our mirrors capture the classic look and aerodynamic goodness of the original racing mirrors of the 60's but with full power. This is the style mirror that belongs on your 60's retro inspired mustang. These mirrors use the stock mounting locations and connectors for a quick and hassle free installation.

I'm really liking these mirror... they're moving up on my mod wish list

Hiroller- Nice Car BTW

FWIW, we have an unwritten rule that we don't copy other company's products that are "doing it right" with a product, and in this case, they are doing it right. While I haven't seen a set in person yet, the pictures are exactly what I had in mind for doing, but since they already are, we'll be contacting them about becoming a dealer for them, because I think it's a nice part.

As to the price, with all the electronics and making the mount look OEM and all that, I can understand the cost, especially if they have to recoup their mold costs over a relatively short run.
