I have to tell the dealer by monday if i want to go with the bullit-looking optional polished 18's. He said there is a long wait for that rim.
My question is, how is this combo of the 18's and the 235/50/18 tires? Is it worth the 800 dollar upgrade? Or shoould i just order the 17's and get aftermarket tires and wheels?

It all depends, I was able to get a good deal on some wheels on ebay and it cost me alot less

Not to mention you could sell your stock wheels and make some money back

Have to chime in, go with the factory 18's. I waited 3 months to get mine and they are well worth it! The combo of Tungsten and the 18in polished bullits is awesome, get compliments all the time!

Get the 18'' wheels, there's no comparison. Delayed my car for weeks, and it was absolutely worth it.

Those are the wheels I ordered and everytime I see a picture of them I'm glad I did it. Can't wait for my car to come in and see them in person.

IMO, it depends on what you want for your car. If you can live with the skinny 235 tires, then the $800 upgrade is a deal. But, if you want a wider tire (like a 275 or above), you'll need to swap wheels eventually anyway (to at least 9" wide).
