Stripes are 10" with 2" gap.

 

I need to update. I did have 10" BSM vinyl, but because of a poor installer they didn't last. My updated stripes are 10.5 inches wide w/ a 1.5 inch gap and are painted like I probably should have done to begin with.

We even have our 1st Alloy Grey stripped car (Warbird69)

 

I have had stripes on mine now for about a year and a half and figured I should pop in and add mine to the list... Mine are vinyl, metallic silver and are 8" wide with a 3" gap. I had mine professionally installed, but if I had to do it again, I would do it myself, cause they used a funky size, but they still look good and that's all that counts...

 

Finally finished mine, please update. BSM vinyl, 10" Gloss Black, 2" Gap, with slash/fade stripes and 'MUSTANG GT' on the side of a Mineral Grey. Also have a blackout strip of vinyl on lower edge/center of front air dam.

 

Gotcha both in there. You will see it when I post my next update to this thread.

 

I found something special in a a Stang meeting in Switzerland: only one stripe on side, something for you AFBLUE

Hey guys, being a stripe thread, i figured this would be the apropriate place to ask for help....

Can someone please tell me what the stock vinyl stripe dimentions are on a 07 shelby gt500 are with spacing?

As well the door stripes size and spacing would be very useful as well.

I am curently doing a Shelby "clone" And want to have the stock look as much as possible.... THANKS!

 

My guess would be 10" stripes with 1" gap. This is only a guess.

Hope someone will help you out. In the interim, here is VegaJay's 10" with 1" gap LeMans superimposed on a Shelby GT-500. Looks pretty close. GT-500 gap might be slightly wider 1 1/4" ?

Now.... where's the lucky dog's w/ the shelby's that can throw a tape on the factory stripes? also the tape stripes on the doors for comparrison.... I just bought a set of door stripes on e-bay and want to compair stock vs these sizes. Thanks
