Nice looking Torch Red with 69 style blacked out hood
Saw this photo in the Apr issue of Modified Mustangs.
Haven't been a big Torch Red fan but this car really appealed to me. I think it's because the after market front spoiler is painted to match the rest of the car (and side mirrors). Also I like how they extended the blacked out area right up to the front edge of the hood.
I think a shaker would also be a nice addition.

Yeah, I saw that one too. I don't care for the scoop though, especially the silver grill mesh, which I think breaks up the whole look. I concur, a shaker would be a plus there.
That's one of the styles I'm considering for my hood. I have it down to that, or the wide (18'' or so) with a narrower stripe surrounding it with the displacement inset, as on the '70 models

Similar to mine, I am getting that chin spoiler before spring (painted to match), and I already ordered the MidWest mirror inserts. Thinking about Roush hood scoop, buut not sure yet. Can't wait to get her out of storage!!!!

I feel the same way. I just didn't want to offend anyone that had already put that scoop on their car.
