Have you looked into the Hurst brand wheels instead of painting yours? I just saw them in a magazine at Wal-Mart.

Yeah, I have a few thoughts on that. Some of which I'll be able to do pretty soon, and for not much $$. The one big thing that I want to change is gonna cost a pretty penny, so I'm holing off on that for now. I should have some updated interior pics shortly.

I did look at the Hurst brand wheels. The ones that are gold painted you can only get on the actual Hurst cars. The Hurst wheels you can buy are painted very similar to mine with black inserts. The rims that I have now are soooooo similar to the Hurst rims, at about 1/2 the cost.

Here's a pic of an 05-09 'vert with the actual Hurst rims on it.

That's a sharp car. I like your style of stripes better.

Blast from the past thread.... I have been away from Mustangs for a while but I was just scanning through some old posts that I had made looking for a specific photo of my old car.

Ran across this one. Lots of comments about painting the wheels to match the gold stripes. Funny. I removed my second set of gold stripes when I sold my car, to help it sell better. That was 2 years ago. Just recently "stalked" the new owner. The wheels, now painted gold by him!!! Funny that.

That really does look good. Unique and not something I would have thought of. Different is not always good but in this case it is. Good job. Plus you have he extra advantage of a chip shield on your hood.
