Sweet hood, I think it fits best with the convertible I'm getting compared to my other choice, the california dream hood.
Do you have any issues with it? Like vibration at high speeds, water, etc?

cheers

I do wish somone would offer those louvers from that hood as a seperate item. That would make for a nice mod at a lower $$$ cost.

Guess it would be cheaper, being that you would have to cut into the hood to install?

Heck, I'd like it if someone would sell an aluminum, not fiberglass, hood like this. (Unless I'm mistaken and this one is aluminum... did I miss that somewhere?) After all the trouble people seem to have with fiberglass hoods (despite their great looks) I would like one close to stock, but with these cool louvers!

The picture is not very good, but the hood really sets the car off - painted the louvers silver.
Does this hood come painted or does it need bodywork and paint? I like the silver also

all aftermarket hoods need to be primed, blocked, and painted. minor trimming is required on some, depending on how well the press mold is. - Roger

That is my favorite hood by far......i love it.......i wish though I could take the air ducts out of the hood and add them to the steeda hood....I think that would be one sweet friggan hood.......great choice car looks wicked good

Second this. What kind of work did the shop have to do here? I would hope that since its a Saleen part it fit pretty darn good.

I was thinking you would not have to, seeing that it was a Steeda part, might even come prepainted the color of your car

Not bad...plus Saleen is a great source of parts for 'regular' 05s.
