Less than 2 weeks into owning my GT, I have 3 quarter sized dents on the front of my hood, Tommorow I am going to try to see if a dent removal shop can fix them, but one of them goes right through one of the lines on front of the hood. I would like opinions on which hood between the 2 listed in the topic would look best on a Windveil Blue GT. Other than the hood I have no plans on any other body modifications, unless someone comes out with some sideview window louvers that replace the windows. The Cervini Elanor hood looks good with the rest of the kit, but wondering how it would look on a light blue car without the rest of the body parts. The steeda looks nice also, but I have just seen them with stripes or the blackout area. If anyone could do a photochop of a WV blue with one of these hoods it be appreaciated For those of you that have had new hoods installed, how much are you paying for paint and install.
Thanks in advance, I am looking foreward to some ideas, since I have been in a funk since this happened.

Out of those two choices, I would go with the Steeda since your not going to do any other modifications. To me, the Cervinis hood wouldn't look right without other body modifications.

Expect to pay between about $400 - $600 for painting and labor.

Or as another option, replace it with another factory hood from Saleen Take Off Parts for $250.00 They may even have your color in stock, so no painting required.

I like the Saleen hood myself.
I agree that the Cervini's needs other front end body mods to look right.

Please forgive my ignoance, but what are the saleen "take off" parts. I am assuming they are parts that Saleen took off to replace with their own, is this correct?

The website sells the parts that they removed when upgrading to the Saleen spec parts

I noticed that 50resto.com has the Steeda hood for about $20 less, and is in TX, For those of you that have changed to the Steeda hood, how long did it take to get if. (From Steeda or vendor). Also If I decide to go with the Steeda hood, who thinks I should keep it all Windveil Blue, or paint the middle Black, like the Steeda Q?

Hum, my 1st thought is it needs a accent color on the cowl area. Don't know about black on windveil blue though, just can't picture that in my mind.
