Ian I love the stance of your car :worship : . I wanted to order the wheel spacers you are using and I followed the link you posted for someone else to make sure he found the right ones. On the link it says they are good for 94-04 and you say these are the ones that fit your 05 . I just want to be sure, see what you get when you do something that everybody likes, lots of dumb question. lol

Thanks, Tony

I am 100% sure, because those are the ones I ordered. I told the guy there to change it to say that they fir the '05 also, but I guess he hasn't yet or forgot. And not a dumb question... just making sure they fit. And they definitely do.

Tony, judging by your post, you are ordering 2 sets today, right? I put the spacers on in the back first when I installed them and liked the look a lot with just the rear wheels out an inch. I had already ordered two pair though and liked the front too so I put all 4 on and kept them on. But if you just get one pair, it will look fine in the back.

no, one pair, just talking on the phone and typing, and the typing suffers. I like the way they look on the front but I am kind of affraid of that extra unsprung weight hanging out there. Ian if you have any can you post some pics of your engine and side view of your car I would like to see a bit more of it.

Tony... I'll try to post some more pics this weekend if I get time. And the one pair in the back should look fine.

And I sent you a PM...

I'm thinking just to put spacers on the back end.

Any comments, suggestions or gestures?

That is what I did, spacers on the back only. I like the way it looks, no differance in the ride quality. make sure to use lock tite.

I sold my front pair a while back and only have them on the rear. Here are a couple pics. And they are a hundred bucks a pair at 50resto.

That looks great! Where did you pick up those spacers, and how much? I want to do it. Spacers are easy to install right? Just take off the tire, place the spacer on, then put the tire back on the car right?

Check out 50resto.com- they have them for only a hundred a pair. Other sites charge as much as $150. And very easy to install. Jack up one wheel, take the wheel off, put the spacer on with supplied lug nuts (use loc-tite) and then put the wheel back on. Piece of cake.
