I got my side stripes put on today, the red looks really good on the black car. This is phase one. In a few weeks I should have the rest of the external mods done.

Whats Left??
- CDC spolier
- 3D Carbon side louvers
- red painted mirrors
- red painted hood (Steeda style)
- "redout" back, back area painted red between rear taillights.

I'll post more pics in this topis as they get completed.

Until then here are some before and after pics.

Not bad. Not my particular cup of tea. But it looks better than I would have expected.

That's an interesting take, reversing what is normally black with red. But red mirrors? I would probably leave those black. Take lots of pics, though. You'll have one -of-a-kind, that's for sure. Let us know how it turns out!

Looks nice. I am not so sure how red mirrors and a red hood will look. Might be a bit too much red for my taste, but I'll wait till I see it to reserve final judgement. I've never seen a car with that scheme, so I might like it. Who knows.

Not nuts about the window sticker - but LOVE the red on black - with the STeeda style paint job on the hood, that should look HOT.

Those stripes look really slick on your black car, nice color choice.

this is the look I am going for, I wanted to get Steeda stickers, but they never got back with me on pricing and availibility. I think everything will look good when everything is complete.

I thought I'd share alittle bit on the progress of my car. I have all of the part in my basement waiting to get painted and installed.

Doug "burningman" did me a favor and photoshopped a picture of my car to let me see what it will look like when everything is complete. He is truly amazing !! , I could almost pass the picture off as the actual car. Notice the side louvers and the rear duck tail spoiler. I thick the car going to look sweet when everything is done.

Painted the hood, mirrors, rear end, CDC ducktail spolier, and 3d Carbon louvers this weekend. Should be installing the spoiler and louvers later this week.

Did you paint it yourself? It looks like you did it in your garage! I like the red on black, it certainly stands out in the sea of all-black Mustangs (like mine...).

I helped my dad paint it. We painted it in my grandpa's garage. It wasnt the cleanest of environments. But it turned out pretty good. Going to get it buffed in a month or so.

Installed the louvers this week, they turned out pretty good. One thing that I can say is that the 3M tape holds like glue !

Man.... your car is definitely one of a kind. I love the whole look of your car. Flows together beautifully.

So have you decided on what kind of rims you want to put on your car? I'm thinkin black bullits...

Finished installing the CDC ducktail spoiler and 2006 pony emblems on the car this weekend. More pics can be seen here

It turned out pretty good, very happy with the way the overall exterior design turned out. Now I have to start on interior and engine modifications
