well mine definitely ended up rubbing. mwag sent me another pair free with newer updated bolts and inserts to tighten the covers down better. I think they have changed the install instructions with new pieces to hold it down better. I havent put them on yet, just still got the rubbed ones in.

 

Anybody know/hear if MWAG is going to do the prop rod plug or battery cover? Nothing on their site

 

+1 on this. I just installed my extension covers yesterday (along with a set of strut tower covers). I have MRT hood struts, so the prop rod plug will finish the look!

 

Any pics of the plug yet.

 

My guess it's not to high on the priority list considering there's no $$$ to made from it. We all bought the covers already so they have nothing to lose. JMO.

 

Midwest Auto Gear extension plugs are available. They are $11 for the painted and $6 for the molded black.

They also have the painted radiator covers available now for $159.

They aren't released on their website yet because they are having work done to the website.

Couldn't wait! Just ordered up a black one--although I wish I had waited a little longer (I just received my strut tower covers and radiator extensions this Monday), then I could have saved the buck for shippping!
