MWAG "GLOSSY" Radiator Ext Covers Installed!!!
Boltzman, I put the hood struts on last summer, then got a free hood and got to park my car inside the north hall at SEMA last year. The new hood is steel, and much heavier than the stock hood, so the struts won't hold it up anymore. I've sent info to Scott Hoag at MRT to get some stronger struts, but haven't heard back from them yet. I'll ping him again today to see what's up.
Dam_mit you guys! Always more stuff I want to buy, cant the list just get smaller and smaller!
After looking at a stock picture, these are soo needed. Painted or black looks good. On GO it really stands out nice.

Got mine today, original plan was to paint them the same as the radiator cover, but then I'm thinking of leaving them as is? Theme of the car has been the Tungsten with Flat Black Accents. Thoughts?
Thanks
Thanks
Did you paint your radiator cover yourself or is it MWAG? If so what paint did you use?
Yes , I painted it myself. Local paint supplier put the Tungsten "T8" in a spray can for $22.00. Sure it doesn't have the glossy look, but thats fine by me. So it wouldn't take much to do the new pieces as well, if I decided to go that route down the road.
I ordered on 2/19/07. Talked to them a few days ago, they said the MG would not be painted until this coming week.
My legend Lime ones should be here tomorrow and if they are I'll slap them on and post some pics!! The all look good to me which ever way you decide to go!!!!
FYI there's rubbing issuses with these just like there were with the Tower covers. I don't have any pics right now but I'll try and take some soon. I'm not the only one having this problem. 89Trooper has also reported these problems.
Well eleanor dreaming I got them today in the mail, a little quicker than expected. They look pretty much gorgeous. Some very small scratches, that I am sure can be touched up. I am just super picky. They are around the holes so I may not even see them. It was raining out today, so maybe I can get time to put them in tommorrow, either way I will post some shots of the redfire, they are sparkling gorgeous. see ya
