Hope they have some pics up soon with a few more details - what stink is that right now, looks like they won't have two different sizes of the same style available so you can go fatter in the back...

Yeah, I think they might mean that the 05 Bullitts are "coming soon", but they didn't update the descriptions, still says 94-04 . Or they've simply been out of stock on the 94-04 Bullitts. We'll have to see.

I really like the Torq thrusts also....the only thing the Deep Dish Bullits have over those is the fact that the Bullits dont have the "stepped" lip like the Torq's, I prefer the flat lip...Just my opinion

Nothing on that page for the '05 except 17x9 chrome Bullitts and Cobra R's. All the other wheels are for the 94-04.
Seems like kind of a waste to me.

Yeah - when I posted my message, there were NO pics and it listed 05s on there..... NOW you go and there are pics and NONE of those new wheels have 05 on them....

PROBABLY why I haven't gotten a response to the email I sent to them right after I saw the page the first time...

(and as a sidenote, dang John and that sweet ride with the sweet wheels... just when I forget about considering going custom wheels, he throws a pic of that blue beauty up.... #^*@%$&*@%!! :bang: )

Ya, I like deep dish rims as well but got tired of waiting. Then again, I really do like what I did get.

Edit: Ya, I know, the car is dirty

A set of the black FR500 with polished lip in 18x9 and 18x10 would rock on my future performance white GT

What do you guys think? Any idea what these thingss weigh?

Those are my exact plans... IF anyone makes some for the '05.
Just got off the phone with WheelReplicas and they've changed their story... AGAIN. Now they're back to saying they won't be making any for the '05.
I wish they'd pick a lie and stick with it. This is getting rediculous.

Jason - that's plain WEIRD , why would any wheel manufacturer say they won't be making wheels for the '05 Mustang when they are: 1) Selling like hotcakes, 2) The Mustang has got to be one of the leading cars for aftermarket wheels/tires......sounds nuts to me.....I could see them saying they won't be making wheels for a Taurus or something where the demand is much lower  ......at 192K units produced in '05, say only 25% of owners go for aftermarket wheels....that's approx 50,000 sets that could be sold and keep in mind these will fit the '06, '07, '08, etc....

John - NICE looking ride....just curious - what is the offset on your wheels (front & rear)? thx -

Just called again today and now they're back to saying they will have them in 60 days. Wouldn't tell me what colors though. I'm getting tired of waiting for those guys. Time to start looking for other wheels again.

Bradley, aka Hotlap, the rear have a 7.25 backspace and front have a 5.5" backspace. Not sure of the exact offset. I think it ends up around 24 for the rear and 36 for the front.

no...that doesnt sound right, w/ a 24mm offset in the rear it would stick out pretty far (which yours doesnt) 24 is actually the 94-04 offset, I think yours is probably around 35-38mm...IMO.

If those backspacing #'s are correct, then the fronts have a 1.5" offset, or ~38mm

And the rears have a 2.25" offset, or ~57mm

Backspacing is the measure from the back of the rim to the wheel mounting surface, while offset is a measure from the wheel centerline to wheel mounting surface.

That would make you wonder if 25% was an accurate number, but in reality the percentage of owners who will install aftermarket wheels on any vehicle is probably close to 5%, and you need to remember the buyer has many choices when it comes to wheels, so the wheel mfgs need to factor that in as well.

Now granted on a board such as this probably 60 - 70% will install aftermarket wheels, but obviously those around here are a little more "dedicated" than your average car owner.
