looks great, that SS front is looking better to me each day. Love the MRT louvres.

Now all you need is a ducktail. Which if my memory serves me correctly you were looking for one that would cover the factory spoiler holes. I'm not sure if this one will, but it looks like it might: GEFracing

Here's the link to the thread where I first found the kit, maybe someone will answer questions about their stuff sometime: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=29876

looks great

here are some pics from the car show. Lots of compliments on my car but I didn't win anything. The 2 guys that did had some hot rods from the early 40's, very nice cars. It was an older crowd so they were not much into the newer stangs. There were 2 other Mustang GT's there but they were just stock

Very nice, John!

So I was out doing winery touring with my girlfriend in Long Island, today, and saw my first ever in real life Sonic Blue. Not only that, but it was a GT! - have still only seen a handfull other than mine.

Beautiful color, for sure. My girlfriend really liked it (even though she assured me she still liked my redfire "slightly better" ).

Talked to the guy for a few minutes. Asked if he ever read/posted to mustang web sites/forums. Nope. -_- Asked if he had done any mods. Nope. Nice guy, but still though - didn't seem like a real enthusiast, except I was showing him the stuff I did and he did crawl on his back on a gravel parking lot to check out my SLPs. His girlfriend was like mine - rolling her eyes and such as I showed the guy my engine mods and revved a few times for him to hear the SLPs and X-pipe.

Anyway, I digress...

Of course, I'll post pictures of my MRTs once painted and installed. Think I should go to a Ford dealer to do it to get an exact paint match?

The guys that painted mine were not FORD related at all however they matched the colour perfectly. The metallic flake was perfect.

Glad you like them but I must admit, pictures don't do the car justice.

John, your ride is looking sick, bro. Excellent work. I know you've waited a while for it... it was definitely worth the wait.

So, are you done with it now? Any plans for future mods? Not that it needs a thing... but modding is a sickness, I know. There's always something else.

I'd say about 1.5 to 2 inches lower than the stock parts.

What I am finding is not too many newer cars are entering the competitions around here and now I see why. A lot of people liked my car but they were there to look at the classics and that is what they voted for.

You are right. Modding is a sickness and I need to be heavily medicated. I am still planning on going with the CDC shaker system, however, I am really starting to like how the underneath of the hood is coming along. If I don't get the shaker I most likely will be getting a hood scoop of some sort. Perhaps and old Boss style scoop. Trying to find something that is wide but doesn't sit to high.

The interceptor hood scoop will be my weapon of choice when i get my '07 next fall. And they're making it into a real RAM-AIR system it says on the site.

the production one doesn't have those wierd blue baffles in it though

Ooohhhh boy John - you did it to me again - daaaaeeem your ride looks SWEET!!!

Definitely one of my fav GTs on this site -

Can you email me some high res pics of that sonic blue badboy???....

(any clearance issues yet with it being so low?? I really like the SS kit but would be so worried about scraping something......)

Looks like the wait was worth it John......it's gorgeous. The louvers look great in the darker colours (as I figured) and the whole thing is just awesome!!!!

Can't wait to see it in person next month. And you're right about modifications and disease, my wife regularly tells me how sick I am (and how sick she is) with all this stuff. Oh well, the seats recline fairly well and I'm sure if push comes to shove the power points could provide enough heat for mac & cheese, maybe even a small cooler.

See ya soon,

Mark.

Thanks for the props guys. I will take some better pictures soon, hopefully tomorrow. I just got back from camping and the weather is pretty darn nasty right now.
