Well they're on, the GTA's got new MRT 1/4 window louvers. Paint matched up really good but I'm not sure about the durabiltiy of the tape (holding them down) on it's own. MRT promises the brackets as soon as they get the bugs out of them. But.....for now......they look pretty good, fit/finish is good, looks good with the lines of the car. Pics don't do them justice. I particularly like they way they're oversized compared to the windows, very much like the '66 and above fit. Can't wait to see John's though.....he's got them and a bunch more things coming at once.
So, the guinea pig once again. You'll hear from me if they come flying off on the highway.
Mark.
Edit - a few new pics added 19 July

I have to say those are the most authentic looking 65/66 vents I've seen. The only way to make them better would be to actually replace the window itself so they didn't stick out from the car. $$$$$$$$
You've done it once again, Mark,

Yeah, after all my female dogin and complaining about yours, mine arrived next day. I'd already prepped the autobody shop about their arrival so they took them in right away. Anyways, I hope they stay put so be careful on the install. I know it's only temporary (until the brackets arrive) but it would still be horrifying to have one fly off at 160 or....(oh dear, what am I saying, I'm not supposed to be doing those kinds of speeds am I?????) whatever.

The MRTs look great - very clean. I like the square shape soooo much better than the rounded look of most the other louvres, especially the 3d carbon and SSE ones, and especially the generation 1 louvres in each case.
However, I have come to like the Roush louvres a lot, as well. Now the decision looks really tough. I found a good picture of a legend lime with Roush louvres installed, so good comparison to the MRTs here - would like to hear others' thoughts. I really think the Roushs are nice and aggressive, and they screw onto brackets (like MRT is supposed to), so safe going fast. I'm don't love the fact that you can see the 3 screws, but what're you gonna do? I would make sure to use touch-up paint on them to blend it in as much as possible.
I don't think its a coincidence that both my favorite louvres are squareish. Rounded just doesn't look good on this girl, IMHO.
Anyway, without further ado.
