Moss Billet Grill installed- need some opinion

I installed the billet grill from Moss. I am installing 10" white stripes on my Windveil Blue. My question is should I keep or remove my SHR rear and taillight? it seems that the rear does not match the front grill. What do you guys think? Keep or remove it.

I installed mine 2 weeks ago... I fabricated new brackets and now my Carriage Works grille is almost flush with the headlights (fully flush looked weird though)... lot cleaner, see pic!

Keep the SHR panel, but lose the bezels.

Thanks, I saw the rear of your car and it pretty nice with the tailight and stripe, I am really thinking of removing the SHR but it will be pain in the butt to remove it because of the 3M tape.

Contact SHR, Marcello can tell you how to remove it.

Personally I don't think that the honeycomb rear looks good with the chrome grille. JMO but you did ask. You can remove the panel by taking some strong fishing line and working it back and forth while the panel is warm to hot. Be sure and wear gloves so you don't tear your hands up! It isn't hard to remove. I took mine off and sold it when I added the stripes. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Most stangs with full length stripes look better without the blackout panel. If I were you though, since you already have the Moss slotted tail-light covers, I would get a can of the factory match spray paint and paint them the same color as your car. I think the Moss tail-light covers do a great job of blending in the Mustangs hideous tail-lights. I don't know why the lights were made so that they stick out from the surrounding sheetmetal. They should have been more recessed.

Nice complete look. I would say yank the panel but leave the bezels.

I am only posting to plead with you to not get stripes! Everyone has them, they're so overdone. The only thing that would look better than horrible on windveil blue would be some sort of sutle silver color. WB is such an awesome color, why cover it up with generic stripes.

Oh, and your car looks great. Love the fanblades, new grill, cs fasia, spoiler. Pull off the honeycomb panel on the trunk and it's perfect.

Thanks GRAYPNY, removed the SHR w/ fishing line. Took me 20 mins. It's now on sale in EBAY. I installed my stripe this weekend. The front bumper is not yet done because the stripes that I got from Baltimore is too short. Emailed ROB.
Thanks for all the responses.

i think you made the right choice in taking off the rear pannel, 1. it doesnt match the grille and 2. it looks really bad with stripes, just would have looked like too much. awesome car though. how about some rocker stripes?

Awesome! Mine's black so I went with the CDC blackout panel in the rear to match. It looks really cool from the front with the trunk open you can see both at the same time. I think with the stripes, taking the honeycomb off was the better choice. Looks really nice with the C/S front facia

I simply used plastic 1/2" spacers on the radiator bracket to get the grille 'almost flush', then painted everything behind the grille black, including the old grille's mounting tabs.

Did u make the spacer or you bought ? I was thinking of moving the grill further front.
