Thumbs up

How hard would it be to get the same look of the GT 500's black lower body on the GT? See below

Maybe you can get some V6 rocker panels.

Or take it to a body shop to paint them.

Are they the exact same shape & style otherwise? (GT compared to V6)

I just like how the black area on the GT500 makes the car look longer (less thick)

I agree. I'm just wondering if the only difference is the finish or si the style & shape different too.

I think they're the same. Here are a few pics from the timeline. Anyone with a white V6 want to trade?

How about this? Just blacked out the lower part of your picture (+ blacked out rear panel, spoiler, hood). I think that may be the difference between the GT and the GT500.

HA now that the GT-500 came out and it has black rocker panels people now want them. Before people didn't like the black rocker panels well if there is a person out there that wants mine it is going to cost you a lot of dinero because of supply and demand.

Anyway I like the black rocker panels I don't blame GT owners for wanting these. With mine I want to put a black chin spoiler on it to complete the lower black look just like the GT-500. Look at the pictures below especially the sonic blue one it looks beautiful with the black rocker panel.

I guess the only option for the rear bumper is paint (unless you get a cobra part). The only that white car needs now is a front spoiler, shaker and some hood pins

Just went to the dealer and took these pics. Shouldn't be a problem to swap them out.

Hey, Super Sonic, lose the attitude. :notnice:

My Webpage

The link above is a picture that shows the blacked out rear of the GT500 really well.

Took the liberty to modify your picture. Hope you don't mind kevin.

I have thought for a while that the GT looks too "fat". I think these blacked out pieces would definately make the car appear longer and thiner instead of big and bloated the way it does now.
