If nobody else posts pics of the black one by next week, I will post up some pics...Mine is in the back room, waiting to be wrapped and put under the tree..
Should have some installed pics by the end of next week.....Mike
Eric,
Well, as promised, here are the pics of the black overlay grille installed....

Here are my thoughts.....
I like the looks of the billet grille. But I will say this. I am not extremely pleased with this particular vendor, for these reasons....
1. Upon unwrapping the grille, there is one bar on the lower grille that is broken at the weld. It isn't going anywhere, but I know it's there.
2. On the face of the upper center grille, there was a nick in one of the bars, which was through the black paint, into silver metal. I had to touch that up.
3. The web site clearly states the following....
This is very misleading. The bottom grille, as well as the main center top grille does bolt over just as stated. However, the left and right piece to the sides of the fogs, you actually have to drive the screw through the factory grille, and there is a clip that goes on the back of the screw. No, you do not have to drill, but you do drill through the stock grille with the furnished mounting screw....To me this is a bit mis-leading.
4. The fitment of the two pieces to each side of the fogs is horrid. The center piece of the top grille is borderline, as it pertains to fitting around the fogs. The bottom grille is a cakewalk.
Bottom line, I like the look much better than the honeycomb grille, but will probably continue to keep my eye open for a full on replacement black billet grille, that maintains the fogs and pony.....
Hope this helps you out,
Mike

No cutting. No drilling. inserts bolt over directly to OEM grille.

Thanks for the info Mike. Well first let me saying that by looking at the pictures of it on your car it looks really good. But those problems (especially the drilling) are making me think twice about ordering one of these. I may still end up buying one, because like I said I really like the look. Thanks again for the pics!
