I'm looking for a Saleen hood with the heat extractor vents, it's the one used on the Extreme. It appears as though Saleen no longer makes them. I have called Saleen about the hood (Which shows out of stock on the website) only to be told they will have more in stock soon. I have been waiting since last October and they still don't have any availible. My local Saleen supplier Tasca Ford has had no luck either.

Does anyone know were I can get my hands on one?

 

If you can't find a Saleen hood, and are wanting it for the heat extractors, you could go with a KR or SS hood. As a bonus they also have ram air too.

 

I have the Kr hood on my GT and its awesome. Quality is great as well as fitment.

 

Everyone seems to be out of stock. Are you already aware of the rediculous price of them?

 

I'm begining to think that the saleen hood is not in the cards for me. Has anyone installed GT500 heat extractor grilles in a stock GT hood? I've seen a couple of guys who did the 2010 heat extractor but none of the 2007-09 grilles.

 

They are repopping them in fiberglass (standard issue in 05).
Just hold off for a bit or talk to Jess at Saleen.

The metal ones are long gone and arnt coming back.
