Right now, I am running Nitto 275/50-17s. But, they are wearing out and it's time to replace them. Before I buy the same size, I am trying to see if any tire manufacturer makes a wider and taller performance tire than what I have right now.

Does anyone know of any tire manufacturer who makes a performance tire in one of these sizes?

285/50-17
295/50-17
305/45-17
305/50-17

285/45-18
285/50-18
295/45-18 (Note: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS comes in this size)
305/45-18

Good questions Don... I'm watching for answers too for the future and to expand my tire knowledge (funny how you have to learn the hard way sometimes...)

By the way, I saw your post on Mod Fords but just had to do it here too:

HOW CAN YOUR TIRES BE WEARING OUT ALREADY!!!

I agree. How can they be worn out already. Just what have you been doing to the tires? If you want bigger tires that's another thing. We are waiting for the after market tires to be available.

These Nitto 450s only lasted for 3 months, 5000 miles...

... and a couple hundred burnouts... LOL

I'm going to get some dedicated track tires/wheels too, so the next set ought to last a while longer.

BFG has a 285/60R18RF. I couldn't find anything in 50 series.

John, I think that one is a SUV tire (if I recall correctly). Thanks for looking!

Our buddy Stoenr (who is in the tire biz), did some homework and found 2 choices only (nothing in 17", both are 18")

Dunlop
285/50R18 109W SL DUNLOP SP SPORT 9000

Goodyear F1 GS
P295/45ZR18 108W S2 EAG F1 GS 32.310LBS

So, unless I can find a correct-offset 18x10 chrome bullitt, I'll probably have to stick with the 275/50-17s I have now.
