<table style="width: 902px; height: 100px;" id="contentTable" align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr valign="top"><td width="97%">yes, they are! There are new brackets listed that have powder coating as well. Also, you have a color choice of silver or black. They look nice! BTW, Craig is out to sea until Friday, but if you would like to purchase or there is something I can help you with until then, I do not mind helping. Just let me know. (I am helping until he returns) :-) He will definitely give you more specifics when he gets back. Just let me know if you need assistance. Thanks! Jennifer

Pretty **** cool! Too bad it's require by law here in California and all the **** dealers get drill happy.
I know you can request it without...but I wasnt even given the option. Now doomed for life.

Here in Corn Country/Fly Over Iowa and in Omaha, the police look over at our no front plate bracket and then just smile at the nice GT/CS! I have not drilled the holes into the front facia, as it is too fine, just the way it was designed. What we do have is the front plate now taped inside the original plastic bag it came in. Then mounted it behind the windshield above the dash on the passenger side. Made foam block holders to support the plate against the windshield via the dash slot and the "A" pillar interior piece. And the Better Half lets me block her front view this way. But shes at 5' 8", so real biggy. The numbers can be clearly seen from the street in this plate required state. Have now been experimenting with a possible holder design that would place the front plate centered and slightly tucked into the lower grill opening and just angled to allow some air flow. But this looks like you would have to drill four mount holes into the front bumper bar bottom to install. And I'm not sure if you can get enough cool fresh air into the radiator without removing the fake grill panels and making new air openings on both sides of the lower grill area? Any ideas on this?
For the most part, I do the same thing when I pass by vehicles w/out front license plates. I really dont care and have much bigger things to deal with, but it is a reason to stop you. The bad news for me, is that I have to use one, or it appears I am breaking the law, while citing others for the same thing.
Funny they'd use a Mustang for this ?

I ran my 1999 Lightning for 2 years. from April 1999 thru August 2001 until I got that $79 ticket and it has been there ever since. I got my GT in February 2006 and it is now September 2007 and no plate to date. I is in the floorboard under the floormat and ready to lay in the windshield if called upon.

Multiple reasons. Most of the time the license plate light is out (if at night), so you cant read it from the rear, so if your coming towards the vehicle, your lights shining toward the car enable you to read the plate, allowing you to verify who the R/O is.
