KR Hood

Anyone know where the GT500KR hood can be found or if it's even available yet? I think I've finally got a vision for my V6. That beautiful ram air hood, Shelby front end conversion, some red stripes from the new Red Appearance Package will go good together.

Eh very close, but not the same. There's a couple lines and angles that differ, but it's as close a match as I'll probably find without forking out the extra dough for an authentic KR hood. I guess it was just the sexiness of the entire KR that makes it look awesome.

I like the hood pins on the Ford show car. I would consider a set if they look like that

The twist lok hood pins on the KR were actually not new at all. they are new parts for a 70 Mach 1. I had a NOS set on my 89 vert. They are still available new and aftermarket. Not that hard to install either.

John's Mustangs, they are repros or NOS for the 70. Most of the shops specializing in parts for restoring old Mustangs will have them.
