GT350R hood group buy

Ok I know a bunch of you on here have been wanting a 66 gt350 R hood similar to the picture below. Well after speaking in depth with http://www.theracecarfactory.com/ who make the 1967 and 1968 hoods they have offered to change their mold slightly and instead of the dual scooped center offer this. Their exact email to me was teh following:

Chris, what we can do for you is this. TRCF will make a GT350 style hood for the GT if you can compile 10 pre-orders, submit a $4000.00 deposit (%50) a down payment. Upon the receipt of the $4000.00 we will begin the production and deliver the first hood 8 weeks later.

The hood will retail for $800.00 plus shipping.

Regards,
Jeff TRCF

So I need 10 people who want in on this. The scoop will look very similar to this and this is how the functionality would most likely work out because it is the same mold. If your interested post here and say so! Then I can start talking to them more and we can get our deposits in.

chris

ps - for more pictures of the 66 gt 350r hood feel free to go to unique performance they are making clones of these and have several pictures of this hood.

I like the functional scoop to the air filter location, and I really like what looks to be functional heat extractors, however, I have no plan to fit a GT500 front end on my GT.

Sure looks cool!

Oh I forgot to mention heat extractors will NOT be on this hood it will simply be a functional scoop that diverts the air over the intake
