You have to go to a ford shop or call them.Have them look up mud-flaps for the GT500. UNDER $11.00

you wont find the Shelby flaps in the accessories catalog because it's not an accessory. You would need to order or purchase it as a regular part for the Shelby. Do a parts look up with a 2007 Shelby instead of the other models and you should find them.

Thanks guys, but I'm not looking for Shelby flaps - I'm trying to find splash guards (like those pictured in the original post) for the regular GT. The only ones I've seen (in the Mustang accessory catalog) are rather large mud-flap type of things.

I'm sorry Danny...my gross stupidity has obviously annoyed you. Even after all that clear, detailed information you provided, and all that time you spent explaining how the products were the same, I STILL didn't get it. I should have known to look in the "Shelby 500" parts catalog. But, now that we're friends, I can admit it...my ESP isn't too good either.

I guess mom was right...I'll never amount to anything. I can only hope that one day, when you need clarification on something, others will show you the same patience and kindness you've demonstrated to me.

I am very sorry if i come off that way all you have to do is go to a ford parts shop and have them look them up for you. Like i said in this post, they will fit a GT i have done it and at under $11.00. I think you will like them and not for $30.00 like on ebay.If you go back in this post you will see that i have said this.Yes i do hope i can call every one on the TMS a friend. PS. DO not put your ,mom down, just a joke HAHAHA good luck.

Does anyone know if they make anything to protect behind the fronty tires? It seems like that part is starting to get chipped and faded due to rock and gravel being kicked up by the front tires. Not spash guards but something else.

FWIW I installed a set of molded guards on the GT and found that a lot of dust/dirt would still contact the rear bumper. On my other car (the 00 vic), which has had anything from worms to mud, to gravel and salt hit the rear bumper cover, hasn't shown any rock "chips" or damage to the cover. The only thing I wish I did with the Vic was use better paint protection from the start so some of the gunk is easier to remove. The positive aspect of having a dark car is that the dark gunk doesn't show up that well on the cover.

I have the full size molded set out of the Mustang Accessory Catalog on my V6. They are saving my rear quarters big time as I live in a subdivision under constuction and there is a lot of gravel on the roads from the constuctions trucks coming and going.

And I can testify that these are indeed specifically molded for each different rear bumper. I 1st ordered the GT set and they do NOT fit the V6 and vice-versa. They are perfectly molded to fit flush to the rear valence.

Will the Shelby flap fit the GT? Does it slide around if you hit it?

Hi, this would be intersting for me too. Because the orig. GT bumper is different from the GT/CS bumper ... normally it looks like this if installed (wrong?):

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/attach...5&d=1178500311

I would like to see a photo of your splash guard mounts at the bumper if possible.

Check out post #17 on this thread. There are 8 pictures of mine there. Are those helpful?

Ah, not at all, because I can see the result, of cause, but not the solution ...
If there would be a picture of the mounting at the bumper in the wheel housing... that would be great ...

I'll take some new pics for you as soon as I can and post them so you can see the inside were they are mounted.
