Thanks got it home today before the storms. I really like the hood, glad some of you all do. I cannot decide on hood pins or not. I may post pics of both and let you all help me decide.

I played with the fit of the hood. You can press down on the passenger side to make it fit the fender, but it will not stay. I have removed the bumpers, no luck.

I am using CDC struts on my hood. Could that be my problem? it was not a problem with my stock hood, so why now? \

It is almost like it was warped???? on that side. I doubt that is the problem, it must be an adjustment somewhere.

Help

How hight is it from the fender? Can you adjst the fender to level it out?
Is it just one side or on both?
If your body shop cant fix it...you might want to contact Cervinis, might be factory defects. This is common with fiberglass hood.

It is finally on

I took the pics from the side that is not as high. I even tried to lower it by removing the cdc struts, no luck. I guess it is warped or something.

Crap.......

Absolutely perfect - that hood should be optional from the factory...

No on the pin. The rise in in the middle of the passenger side. No way to pull it down.

Thanks

guess next step is to get hold of Cervinis and let them know of the problem and see what they can do to fix it.

Thanks
You might try and adjust the bump stop on that side so the front is high. then with the car in the sun it may help flaten out the hood. If yours is like mine it is fresh off the mold and will warp a little if it isnt kept flat during the full cure.

Looks great!! I was thinking of getting the same kind for my grabber. Is a screen really needed for the intake on this hood?

yes I did have those struts

I think Cervini will need to add them, it would keep the bug spatter in the engine area down some.
