Well I got my Pony spinners in yesterday and took the car for an oil change and tire rotation and had them installed. They look great but they are too easy to steel. My 13 year old daughter could snap them out if she wanted to. I wonder how long it will be until I walk out to the car and find holes in my wheels rather than the spinners. Thank goodness I have a house with a garage. My only worries now is leaving it in the parking lot somewhere. I am disapointed that Ford didnt built them in a way where they would be impossible to snap out unless you took the wheel off. I am glad I didnt sell my pony center caps in the event that the spinners get stolen.
Just thought I would let you guys know if you are thinking about buying them. It will be a matter of time until someone realizes how easy they come off. I probably should have never posted this...lol

If I'm not mistaken this subject has been covered at least once in the past. I seem to recall that someone found that if you purchase a specific size PVC from Home Depot you can insert it into the spinner itself and it will block the spinner from easily being removed from the wheel. I did a quick search for this but haven't found any specifics thus far.
What you describe IS disappointing but I do believe there are ways of resolving it.
