Is that Fang Performance shaker and hood? Looks good. I really like the twist type hood pins on the black one.

BTW your hi rez pics aren't showing up.

Thats cause geocities stinks, ill try to get them up somewhere else. That is fang performance's shaker hood/scoop as well as the front chin spoiler there putting on. Terry is the man to talk to over there, he really knows his stuff. www.fangperformance.com

Like the pins as well, but the positioning is bad. Should be out further.

More on topic - the green looks great. The 69/70 hood with shaker looks excellent.

Very, very sharp. It just needs a set of Magnum 500's to top it off.

Terry is great. Got me my chin spoiler and ducktail out in record time. Fit and finish is top notch.

I love your car. I think that 69-70 style hood really helps the shaker look right on the S-197. I also think using LeMans stripes with the CDC's shaker helps them integrate it better as well, but I'll give the nod to Fang.

I agree that the hood pins need to be further out.

David, you are making it difficult for me to wait until fall 06. I could just see that on a Vista Blue 06.

Great job.

Have you noticed any additional power due to the ram air?

Went back and looked at Amy V-6 pix of "Vista Blue". This is probably closer to the mark.

That's exactly the way I plan to paint my hood with when my shaker gets here (should be here Monday). I went with CDC's shaker because I like the way it functions better, but I do love the way that hood looks.

Who's black car is that?

Where'd he get the twist lock hood pins?

How did he install them?

I believe it's a project car owned by Fang. Go to their webpage and ask. Terry quickly responded to my questions there.
