Which companies qualify for the X plan

I live in New York and dealer are really trying to make it hard for me to negotiate, I don't want to have to go incredible hulk on them, I'm trying to be polite. I just want to do this hassle free with the X plan. How do i find out which companies are eligible for the X-plan. And if I'm not, how do i get sponsored, I can only afford a 2012 fully loaded mustang gt with the X-plan. Any tips Oh yea,.. I work at the United Nations.

Yup....Just remember, the dealer is under no obligation to sell to you under X plan. If you can negotiate to invoice +100 you'll get the same deal plus their doc charges, whatever they may be. X-plan caps those amounts.

Remember too, that invoice (dealer document) includes a $486 Advertising fee + Gas.. Edmunds or the online services fail to mention that.

My dealer quoted me a price under invoice for my order - a 2012 GT premium convertible with just about everything.

Talk to the dealer, see what he or she can offer.

Im so glad i found this forum i, i didn't know about the x-plain till last night, i was under the impression that brand new released cars can't be negotiated to invoice, foolish me.

I got pre-approved from MCU for 32,000 at 2.9 and got 10,000 for a down payment, with that said what should I aim for with that.

Just enter your Partner code and go from there to generate a PIN.

I know the company I work for on our company homepage has options such as perks that tells what types of benefits we get. You might want to browse around on your company home page b4 dropping the 50$.

My company is affiliated with BP which is a Ford partner and therefore entitles me to X plan. I joined MCA anyway because I found the PIN process faster and less trouble than going through work and they have a nice monthly magazine "newsletter" that I enjoy reading. Plus you get two MCA stickers to put in your windows and "ricer" math says that every sticker you can put on your car adds 5 horsepower.

You can also purchase some Ford shares. As a share holder you also get x-plan pricing.

There may be a minimum shares amount with that. I'm not positive on the specifics.

@WhiteBird00, that was funny, I joined MCA and i think its kool.

@jlmounce, I read that if you buy shares, you have to buy 25 and have them for at least 6 months.

I mentioned x-plan while I was car shopping. The guy threw away his offer right away and we ended up negotiating a price even lower than the x-plan price. I did what I would do in any car buying situation, played two dealerships against each other to get a better deal. In the end I didn't even have to spend the 50 bucks to get my code

The interesting thing I noticed, is that the GT500 coupe and convertible are now x plan eligible for 2012, no so for the 2011s...

Actually the ford partner site lists x-plan prices for 2010 and 2011 GT500s. Though they only started offering this in late March.

THANKS EVERYONE !!!, I just ordered my 2012 Mustang Gt Fully Loaded for 700 under invoice, got it for 41,600 instead of the MSRP of 46,000;
This includes, alllllllll fee's (TAXS / FEUL CHARGE / ADV ASSESSMENT / DEST & DELIV / TIRE / REG. / INSPECTION FEE).
All thanks to the X-plan,..... this does not include any rebates yet, still waiting on the $750 coupon and the $500 incentive to apply when i pick up the car in June.
Could have tried to negotiate a lower price, but im happy enough with the X-plan, saved me the frustration of negotiating

I think this is everything i got on mine:

Blue, Kona Metallic
44X Manual, 6-Spd w/Overdrive
Rapid Spec 401A
Brembo Brake Package
3.73 Rear Axle Ratio
HID Headlamps & Security Pkg
Comfort package
Electronic Package
Rear View Camera
All Weather Floor Mats
Tape Stripe Delete !!!
Black, Charcoal/Cashmere
SHACKER 500
SINC
SIRUS

You overpayed. I just built a car on ford's site to your specs and came up around 41k, nowhere close to 46k.
