First off let me say that I've been a lurker here for a few months. Secondly, in April I bought an 06 Vista Blue Fastback with the Pony Package.

Need some help on a hood stripe. I'm looking to add the 04 Mach 1 style hood stripe like the one 89Trooper has. What I'm unsure of is color. Currently I have the Pony Package Mustang side stripe in white. I also have the CDC V-6 chin Spoiler in Black. My future Mod list includes, Roush qtr window louvers (painted Vista Blue) and the rear window louvers in black.

My color options for the hood stripe are white or black. If I choose black, the rear spoiler will be changed to a black take off, however, I don't think the black hood stripe will go very well with the white rocker stripe. If I choose white, the spoiler will stay Vista Blue.

Any one care to Photochop one for me in black and one in white??

Any opinions??

 

My opinion is if you want to be SUBTLE go with the Black, if you want it to stand out go White.
My preference, of course, would be white especially with the white rocker panel stripe.
Any plans of adding the Shaker Hood System. I think the Mach1 Stripe looks awesome with the shaker.

 

CDC is coming out with a V6 Shaker. I have experience, should we cut your hood, too? You know you want it.

 

I like when the center of the hood from the feature lines are black(like a Steeda car). Just yank the white stripes off the side. Looks subtle and classy, and the feature lines bring the black right into the grille.
