I am geting a Cervinis' KR style hood installed today. Cervinis does not provide and screens for the scoops. Does anyone know where I might find some screen or mesh inserts or the material to make my own? I don't want to close them up just prevent bugs and road debris from flying into the engine bay. Thanks.

 

My RK Sport hood came with wire mesh installed , but I have used gutter screen in the past and you can get it at Home Depot. I would suggest painting it with brake caliper paint so it doesn't chip all the time ...

 

Premade, no, but you can always wander over to home despot and get some stuff to make some. Better yet, go to a junk yard, find a screen you like, and modify it to fit.

 

I'd be calling Cervini's. I went thru this with my ram air hood and they changed the design of the inserts like 3 times. There are the best of what I have now but atleast they sent something for what I spent.

 

Cervinis site always stated there were no inserts for this hood. It won't be too hard to gin something up. Just picked the car up. Here are a couple of pics.
