Maybe. Sorry for the quality of the pictures, but it was my Blackberry cam. Will have to do some nice ones over the weekend.

I saved this pic because I liked this twist style. I remember seeing them on ebay but they were way overpriced.

This stuff is definitly more effective! Nor more hood flutter. Mine is just cosmetic and a 'take off' part if the cops will stop me.

But wouldn't the stick-on type be as lethal ? You never know when an innocent passerby will throw themselves on your hood

Boltzman, can you take a pic of your pins installation with the hood open? I have nearly the same hood design, Cervini Type 4 Ram Air, and NEED hood pins. I'm having trouble on deciding where to put them. Your installation looks to be about where I would have to install them. Do your fit the curves of the hood well? Did you use bolts to secure the top plate to the hood or just the average "wood screw" type? Thanks in advance!

i'll get you pics.My laptop doesn;t have them so I have to get to my desktop. Mine are not on the curves of the hood and I'm just using "wood type" screws that it came with

Perfect! I was thinking of going with the ones used on the Shelby GT but after looking at them up close, i am a little skeptical of the quality. Both the rings had pulled out of the pins, and the Aluminum Top plate had corrosion on it. Do you have the ram air kit with your hood? Did you have to seal any part of the hood when you drilled trough it? I've read a couple posts where you have to seal the sides of the hole as it penetrates the top and underside layers of the hood. I guess some hoods have a gap in there, not sure about the Cervini one yet.

Lastly, I noticed you are from Tampa, where at in Tampa? I'm originally from Clair-Mel area on 78th street. Moved to Texas when I was 13, only been back once since then. Man, I miss it!

This is the closest pic i have right now. I got them installed when they did my hood but I don't think they sealed anything. Yes I have the ram air hood. Not sure if it helped any though I'm in Lutz which is northern Tampa(Right on Pasco Co line)

It looks like they are where the bump stops should be. That's a good idea. Looks great! Thanks a bunch, that really helps! I should have my pins here in the next week or so. I post with pics when they are installed. Thanks again.
