Thanks Ryan,
Did you have to ake anything off to o the drilling for the pins ?
I guessing from the location that you drilled into the flat part of the hood from the underside.

Any others with pictures of their hoodpins?

Is there any specific position where you need to install them?

I bought the CDCs which you glue onto the hood. I am not fully clear if you just put them where you like or if there is a specific location where you must put them?

Any input highly appreciated. Thanks.

Do a forum search of hood pins and look at some pictures. Normally poeple who installed real hood pins have to have them in specific locations due to the brackets/hardware the pins give you. I had mine installed where the front bumper stops are where the hood rests.

Hi, thanks for the advice, I've done this. I have quite some pictures with everyone having them at a different location.

Personally, I'm just curious on the CDC's which you stick on to the hood. So what you say is place them where ever I feel like on the hood but close to the grille?

You might want to start a new topic that is specific to the CDC stick on ones. You'd get better results since this topic is based specifically looking at ones that are not stick on.

I know bubba, but the problem is, they are illegal in Switzerland/Europe, hence I need to figure something which can be a take-off part.

Otherwise I am fully with you bro!

Wow, hood pins illegal? Thats rather backwards I would say, lol.
But then again, look where we're talking about

I have the sparco ones myself. They were already on the hood since I bought it used and did not have a choice on location, but it works well.

PM Tom281. He has those stick-on ones or had them. I'm sure he wouldn't mind giving you a few pointers.

You think so? I took several pictures of different Stangs who applied the pins and they all have them there. Even the CDC advertised Mustang has them there.
