Get HID bulbs for the fogs

You might also want to match the color temp on the bulbs - the higher the temp, the more blue-purple they become.

(thumbing through Saleen instruction manual) It doesn't say.

The parts list says "06-1202-C09903A Headlight, Bi-function HID 5 3/4" R(L)H Kit"

I was thinking of getting some Silver Stars for the fog light bulbs, but then I decided not to bother - the stock fogs really make the presence of the HID lights stand out! I think I will leave the fogs as is.

I gave these lights some serious thought and sent Kevin an E mail. After being informed of the price I quickly changed my mind. I would rather put the $$ in the motor.

On the comment about the HID kits not being legal... I don't think that's true. All the kits that I've seen say DOT approved or legal in all 50 states, etc... Also, the $1K for Saleen is the entire housing, not just the bulbs and ballasts... I don't care if I don't have high beams, I think the lights are bright enough as they are, if you need MORE LIGHT, turn the fog lamps on, and that's it... $300 vs. $1,100... I don't know, I'm having a hard time justifying having high beams for an extra $800...
