Has anybody installed new HID bright White/Blue headlight bulbs? If so is it easy to do?

Don't do it, man! Studies have shown that they are distracting and irritating as heck to oncoming cars...after seeing them coming at toward me, I didn't need a study to tell me that. Until I got rid of my HID's I constantly had people flashing their brights at me, or just leaving their brights on. I replaced them (...okay, after one of them burnt out!) and went with one of the regular but higher buck bulbs on the market, which do an excellent job. I can see very well at night, and nobody gives me the highbeams anymore.

When I lived and drove in the city I never really had a problem with people flashing their brights. Once I moved to a more rural setting and started driving on dark country roads I usually had at least one car flashing their brights every night. I think they must just be that much more distracting when there is no ambient light from streetlights, stores, etc...

I had some silver stars in my old car. They were very bright and white, no hint of blue. Everyone flashed me all the time when driving at night. After seeing them for myself, they really did appear to be on high beams all the time. I put the OEM back in because of the nuisance they caused.

The bulbs are easy to install, if you go whith a HID set up, theres alot more to it, I don't know a whole lot about them so cannot comment on how much more difficult they are to install. Assuming they replace the housing and harness but not sure. I do know they are very expensive for the 2005.

It's not worth the insane amount of money nor the constant flashing of brights from oncoming drivers. Not to mention, a guy I know installed some in his Integra and two weeks later they were stolen.
