Okay, the time has come for me to order the following from Graphic Express (see pics attached below):

1. Dual wide hood stripes
2. Solid rocker stripes
3. Trunk lid stripe

Now, my car is black with red leather interior and I already have the CDC shaker and the SHR honeycomb panel installed. I also plan to paint the calipers to match the stripes. I just don't know what color should the stripes be: red, silver or dark grey.
Please vote or suggest any other color.

 

Personally I'd go for the red stripes, only for the sides and trunk lid (withouth the hood).
Here's the look I'm thinking of, which was great in 1969, but I don't want it to end up too flashy on this body style:

 

White. If doing the sides only, then red.

i am a black and red guy my last car was Performance Red with black stripes and now with my black i am going to go with Performance Red stripes

As the owner of a black stang I say go silver or matte black like the black mach 1's have.

 

Red is ok, but not for the whole hood. Silver is classy, grey a bit more subtle. I like white, a'la Vegasjays car. I also like the matte black idea, stealthy evil car. Tough choice, and I'm no help. Check out the stripes thread, search for examples. I'ts your car, and all of theose choices work. I might try an anthracite to match the wheels? Good luck and post pics!

 

Do the side and trunk lid only. Silver would be more subtle and red would punch it up .Those would be my best options.

 

Red would be too much on the hood, but would look great on the sides, very Mach retro looking. Plus, it would match the red interior, and red calipers always look great.
