How is the signal reception????... I dont really listen to the radio...but in the occurance that I may want to.

I bought a shorty antenna about a year ago. It looks great, but the reception suffers, especially when I get out on road trips, which I love to do. So, until I eventually shell out the bucks for satellite radio, I'll be using the factory whip.

I have the 8" shorty from American muscle on both of my Mustangs and it doesn't seem to hinder radio reception at all. I don't hear any difference from the factory antenna.

If you do lots of road trips, you will love Satellite radio. You can listen to one station and drive cross-country if you want to! Plus the selection of things available is great. I have been a Sirius subscriber for over 3 years and will not listen to terrestial radio any more.
