I like those hash marks, they look good. I just ordered a custom set from houseofgraffix.com (I believe it's spelled that way). My car is Tungsten and I'm getting the two 3" flat black stripes with a 2" flat white stripe in the middle. Hoping to emulate the WWII invasion stripes on the wings of the p-51 mustang. We'll see if I like them when I get them. If you don't mind me asking, do they install similar to tint (wet install), and what measurement did you use to line them up (i.e, xxx inches from back of hood or front of fender).

TIA

hash stripes

hi all, I have a black on black 07gt,but would like to give the car a little pop. I am thinking of fender hash stripes. would you do both fenders or just one, if just one fender left or right, and what color stripe would you choose? thanks

It sounds as though the historical ones were just one side, but I personally think they look best when applied to both sides of the vehicle. As for the color, that really depends on what direction you want to take your car. Do you have any other accents on your car? Just about any color can look good on black.

I used soapy water and a squeegy when I installed mine. I used a piece of string with a heavy nut tied to the end of it as a plumb and split the center of the front wheel hub. Used a grease pencil and made a mark on the fender. That's where the center of the gap between the stripes were. I then just tilted the stripes forward until I liked the slant and marked the outer most edge of the forward stripe. Measured the distance from the front of the fender and marked the other side the same distance. Piece of cake... took about 30 mins to install. If you have any bubbles just be let them be... it may take a few weeks but they'll work themselves out.
