Whether they're worth it is a matter of opinion, but I have seen these exact lights in person. Tampa area, black 05 GT with Street Scene body kit, 19" or 20" wheels (chrome), billet upper and lower grilles, and a tag that read "BLAQ ICE". Very sharp looking car - no idea who's it was though. At least he did acknowledge me when I waved. The lights looked great on his car BTW

I was about to buy those but I believe you dont retain the use of the 9008 bulb. Also I wasnt impressed witht he light pattern they were giving off.. maybe it was just the one I saw that day... I agree they are sharp.. especially on black cars

Do you know what type of bulbs go in these? I'm guessing it has to be 4. Two for each side. Are the top and bottom ones the same or do they differe from one another?

I had those on my SRT 10, I thought they looked good but they sucked at night - no light at all. To adjust them I had to have them off, so I spent about an hour just kind of holding them in place, pull off, adjust, hold back up. And the STILL weren't bright.

I don't like em on the Mustang

i'm not a big fan of these lights.I've seen them on a few Stangs and don't look bad, but they look to much like they should be on a honda civic to me, but thats just me. I do like the stock looking halo ones on ebay if they came in black housing. all i've seen is chrome.

I thought these lights were suppose to be brighter and better than the stock lights..isn't that the point of them...or is it all just for looks?

They're not the highest quality. For example - see the metal looking clamp on the bottom of the Halo ring on the top lamp? It's plastic molded to look like it's metal molded with two bolts in it. Mine were just like that. The company is JDM. The bulbs are T1s I believe. Sylvannia makes a better T1 bulb but the illumination was still about the same as holding your hand in front of the headlamps - blocking light.

I really liked the look on my truck. If you really like them (didn't look too bad on the other thread) look into replacing the bulbs with HIDs.

Hope this helps

I'd like to see those black headlights but with that little tack on piece that you can get to make it look like the 1970 Mustang.

Just purchased the JDM projectors, going to give them a shot. I have the molded splitter pieces painted & ready to go. However, am not sure about the disassembly/assembly. Looking for someone who has installed 'em themselves for an idea of what I'm up against. The dealership is wanting to rape me on the install price. Also, they have a warning sticker 'HID bulbs not allowed'??

If they are a direct replacement for the factory buckets install shouldnt be to easy. You just need to take the front bumper off. In order to do that, first remove the inner wheel well covers using a screw driver. Just turn the steering wheel in or out and you should reach all the clips. Then you have a couple of nuts to remove (13mm I believe) holding the bumper to the fenders.

Next remove the radiator cover and remove the bolts holding the bumper on on top. Finally go underneath the front bumper and remove I think 4 screws (11mm). The bumper should slide right off. Now just remove the headlight buckets and install the new ones. I am unsure though if you have to do any electrical conections with this install though.

Took me about 30 min first time as I didnt have a clue what to do, about 15 min the second time. Hope this helps.

Thanks. Just beginning this whole add-on thing. There are a couple extra wires, grounds etc... The lights came w/ a wanna-be wiring guide. Sweet looking vert. Were you doing paint-work on the headlight buckets?

Thanks. I had the buckets painted. You shouldnt have much of a problem with your bumper, now the electrical, I wont touch that.

HID bulbs not allowed??? Is the plastic kind of "light weight?" I remember the instructions that came with mine were kind of "it puts the lotion in the basket..." The ones I had for my Dodge came with a plug to the stock harness for the main lights. You might want to splice the Halos into your parking lights if you haven't thought of that already. I used those blue crimp/splice to male/females to the halos. Haven't touched the headlights on my Stang so can't help you there...

Yes, it is the light plastic. The wiring for the inside LED indicators are seperate as is the inside Halo. One black one white. The instructions are as you would say. Huh?! I really like the look, with the rest of my car being blue w/ all black. Am hoping to put some Steeda blacks on it soon. I have the painted headlight splitter pieces ready to go.
