I got my GT500 OEM spoiler from Kevin at Clevenger Ford (Buy it now on E-Bay). There is currently one for sale on their E-Bay page, See the Link Below. If you read the forums much you'll find that everyone who buys from him is completely satisfied and that peace of mind was worth the little extra I paid for shipping. (It cost me about $20 more than my local couldn't be bothered dealer would sell me one for.

P.S. I have heard that some of the aftermarket ones don't fit well or only use two of the mounting holes, so if you don't go OEM do your homework!

Same here. Got mine from Clevenger Ford, on ebay. No problems at all. And it's the
real deal. Highly recommended.

You get what you pay for, so go with an OEM one from Clevenger. But looks like the auctions for that item has ended... so just call Kevin directly and he will get you hooked up.

My comment was specifically for spoilers, which is the topic of this thread. You are entitled to your opinion and I can appreciate that, but I really thought this forum was more about people with a common interest in making their cars perform and look better, while also providing feedback on what they may have read and or experienced with a given upgrade/part... And not about bashing someone's approach to it.

OEM Bible thumpers? I don't think anyone posted "Only buy FORD products". My post was only that I think the
OEM GT500 spoiler is a superior product. Do I think that some aftermarket products are superior to FORD's? Absolutely.

Seems you're just trolling. By calling the previous posters hypocrites, in your indirect manner, invites this response:
Right now, I'm chalking off a large section of my hiney for you to start kissing.

I went with the Ford GT500 spoiler and have been very happy with it. I concur that some products are better than OEM, and in some cases Ford just doesn't make certain products. In the case of the spoiler, I think the Ford spoiler has superior construction and quality. This doesn't mean though that some have had good luck with aftermarket spoilers. I think it will vary depending on who paints it, how it is installed, and the exposure to adverse weather.

First of all, don't feed the trolls.

But I had an aftermarket GT500 style spoiler and it sucked. A very bad molding job which had ripples and a paint job that didn't match, not to mention I would have had to drill at least two extra holes to get it to bend to match my trunk.
OEM GT500 spoiler fit with existing holes, no warpes surfaces, sharp edges, etc.

But, as Lil Wayne said:
"If you can't ride fly, then you might as well hate"

And as far as being an OEM bible thumper, as a good friend of mine once said:
"Stock sucks"
