GT500 grille w/ fogs???????

Does anyone know if there is a company manufacturing a GT500 grill w/ fogs in the grill. I like the look of my blank grill w/ the offset tribar pony emblem, but everytime I see a stock GT rollin around I miss the look of the grill mounted fogs. Plus I'm starting to see several "legit" GT500's around and I'd like to do something a little different with mine to set it off.

I want to keep the lower fogs in the bumper, even though it may be overkill. I could probably install a three point switch that would allow me to run either/or. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations of a company I could email or write to in reference to discussing this with them? I considered ordering another Shelby grill and attempring to fabricate something, but I'm sure that would go over like a turd in a punch bowl. Stay tuned!

I don't think it'd be all that hard to make. Just cut the plastic bezels out of a stock GT grill, and carefully cut holes for the bezels in a GT500 grill, the tack them in with some jb weld or something silmilar, and maybe a coat of satin black for good measure.

i know what you mean... well, kinda. i have the GT500 rear and would love to do the front, but when i see a GT500 or v-6 it appears to be missing something, maybe just me i really love the GT fogs.

Will, you still have a buddy that can fabricate for us?

One big issue with the GT500 grill is the forward lean it has going from bottom to top. It would make aiming the lights a little difficult.

If you do what I said, it wouldn't be too bad. to get them lined up. Do it in front of a wall at dusk. Tack a small spot on the left and right, which will allow tilt. Then adjust them and tack the top and bottom. Take the grill back off, jb weld all around, spray with stain black, reinstall, and enjoy.

I'll make a call and see. I'd have to take my grilles out and send them off.

Will.. I am in the same boat.. I took off my billet grills and painted them black myself...you can see some of the pics I have posted in a thread here. Now i want them in black chome like you. Just finding a place to do it is the difficult part. I also want blk chrome wheels. Problem is I havent seen any in the Deep Dish and I have those in the back now and I love that look. Does anyone know if shops that powdercoat could coat my grills and rims in blk chrome??

Not sure of one is made but I do remember seeing a photoshopped version a while back. Center mounted on a GT500 grill.

I think if you center them then it takes away the cluttering of the front of the car. You're going to have two sets of fogs and if you put them in the center it kinda cleans up the look in my opinion.

Definitely center them. Like Will said, it looks less cluttered, and what more fitting for a GT500 nose, than an Eleanor style grill?

yes...that is very, very nice. either way, centered or spaced, i think the pony emblem may be the clutter factor. but yea, that's what i'd like to have... nice.

I like them the most out at the edges. Still leaves a nice open area in the middle (don't put anything in there) and you have the fogs too.

I dunno, looks like a mouth with a big split between buck teeth. I have the centered fog lights on my GT, but not sure on a GT500. I think they are just good in factory trim.
