Just wondering if anybody else see's this as a problem down the road..Would'nt take much for a small rock to go though the radaitor..Or am I worrying about nothing? You can see whats starting to happen after only 5,000 miles..What's it going to look like at 10,000 Grill or not to grill that is the question

That kind of damage is going to occur with a grill, though I would think just maybe a little less. Bugs alone will bend those radiator fins at highway speeds.

Have you never had to peel a bird out of your grille? It has only happened to me twice in 27 years of driving, but the grille was the only thing that saved the radiator in those cases. Grilles do a mediocre job of keeping the bugs out, but it's the bigger stuff you should be concerned about. A piece of wood, big rock, bird, etc. would put you on the side of the road.

hmmm, I think the stang looks ugly without a grill, but hey that is my opinion. The size of the holes in the honeycomb pattern are going to let alot of stuff through and into the rad so I am sure something will happen with or without the grill

www.trexbillet.com part #'s 25516 + 20516, install was easy, but you must cut the center of th factory grill out.

Make sure you pick up a radiator comb to straighten the fins out every now and then.

I just picked mine up a couple days ago and as I was waxing the car last night, I noticed the same area of the radiator that seems to be exposed.

I may make a guard out of some mesh or expanded metal...

The grill looks great!

Trying to figure out your profession based on your plate. Axe murderer or lumberjack is all I can come up with.....

I love my new grille too. I drove the car yesterday for the first time since I installed it and it was like it was brand new again. People were giving me everywhere!!

AXSLYNGR is actually a slang term for a guitarist, of which I have been for 35 years. Had to drop the "E" for space reasons obviously.

I am LOVIN' the guessing about my profession though!!!!!!
