Rene... looks great. The "GT 300" I think should be pushed back to the door crack and there should not be any of the wider middle stripe there between the "GT 300" and the door. Because the fenders on the '05 have so little room there, IMO. You have the height perfect though. And I agree with others on the fact that if you get the "GT 300" script on your rocker stripes, you need to get rid of the stock "GT" badge. There are so many badges out there that you can get to cover up the holes in the car if you take off the existing badge.

Well I wont be moving the stripes, so they are staying where they are. I like them...I think they look great. As for the GT Badging, I will be leaving that there for now. I can always change it to the tri bar ony later, but I am in hurry to try and switch those out.

Thanks again ....those pics you posted are nice.

Rene... I was looking at your avatar while reading "I like them... they look great." I could see you sticking your tongue out at me like the horse there. I like them too, btw. I just think it would be better pushed back. And you know you can do that very easily by just moving the "GT 300" back and if you had a little extra piece of the stripe to put by the wheel well. Not trying to change your mind or anything...

Oh, I know........I appreciate your ideas. I just will leave well enough alone for now. I paid $80 for the kit, and would hate to mess anything up at this point. I am the one who told the install guy to just space the GT300 in the middle of that section, so I was my fault for him putting them there, but I dont think it looks bad, and I doubt anyone will notice the subtle change from the '68 stripes, so..............

now if I could just get my sequential tial light kit on, I would be real happy.

I guess I will be working on that tonight in the garage....wish me luck!!

Good luck. That's a task in itself.

Anyone put rocker stripes on a mineral grey 'stang?

I purchased sandstone colored GT300 stripes for my wife's vert to go with the parchment interior. Also have tri-bar pony badges to replace the GTs on the fenders.

I have black on mine. The beige might look good since you have the parchment interior. It will be subtle, for sure. I'd be curious to see pics after you put them on.
