This is just me.
I like the fogs the size they are, any other size looks sort of out of place. whether you have them or you don't.
The classic grilles were wider, and shorter than the current grille, so small fogs are ok. The current grille is taller, and as wide, so small fogs look unproportional.

A little off topic, but in the same vein...

How cool do those old driving lights and back-up lights look on those old stangs... I am totally thinking of buying two round white reflectors and bolting them below the taillights on the read of the 05. I think it might look really cool.

People who know mustangs will totally see the resemblence, while others will prob look right past them.

They might look horrible, but I think they might have a cool effect if just mounted really flat about 4 inches below the tails....

Just my opinion. Oh well.

You could also go and buy replacement/after-market lights for a classic and re-work them to go on your 05.

Some of you guys still think that those inboard lights on the 69 are "fogs". They are not fogs they are the high beams. I know because I just sold my 69 Conv. to raise some cash for the 05. What I don't know and would like to find out is if that is the same way its going to be with the 05 lights. i.e. are the outboard lights both high and low beams ??? Or are the inboard lights high beams as in the 69. They are all "white" light, to me "fog-lites" are a yellow-amber color. Can anybody give me the correct skinny on this??? Thanks

No, fog lights are white as well. All forward facing light in cars these days have to be white, per law.

the fogs are something that really, in my opinion, make the GT stand out more than the V6. i dont see why anyone would want to remove them.

If the car was built before the law was made then it's perfectly legal. So you can still put the amber colored lights on the older classic models, but just not the newer Mustangs.

There may be some states that dont have laws against non-white lights, so if you were wanting to put amber colored fogs on the '05 you could try looking into your state's road laws.

not to mention Distinctive at night with those Four Lamps Blazing! How many other cars can you name in the last Decade that have had Four Round Lamps at that level?

Not quite the same but similar.

B) I have a really neat styling option that would be easy to do also.

Tape out a Malteze cross on the fog lite and spray paint the reast of the glass area black to match the grill. B)

Imagine seeing this thing come at you from the rear view mirror at night.
